Project Overview
The Illinois State Alliance of YMCA's Fall Rally event in 2024 was a vibrant collaboration of YMCA teams across Illinois, uniting people to share ideas, inspire one another, and strengthen the organization’s community impact. Taking the lead in designing the event’s visual identity, I embraced the rally’s theme of the Olympics, drawing on the spirit of competition, unity, and achievement while ensuring the design stayed true to the essence of the event without infringing on trademarked Olympic elements. By incorporating unique symbols of teamwork and celebration, I created a dynamic logo that captured the energy and camaraderie of the event, while maintaining a fresh, original approach. This design not only resonated with attendees but also showcased the power of creativity and collaboration within the YMCA community.
My Contributions
As part of my contributions to the Illinois State Alliance of YMCA's Fall Rally 2024, I designed a highly popular t-shirt that featured a unique Illinois design alongside the official logo of the Illinois State Alliance. Drawing on the state's iconic elements, I created a design that was both visually striking and meaningful to attendees. The combination of the Illinois-inspired graphic and the official logo captured the essence of the event and the unity of YMCA members across the state. The t-shirt quickly became a fan favorite, serving as a lasting memento of the rally while showcasing my ability to blend creativity with meaningful branding.
